Privacy Policy

SuperQuiz ("the app") helps students study with AI-generated flashcards, quizzes, and tutoring. This policy explains what we collect and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and password (handled by Supabase Auth), and the profile you set up (country, education board, grade, subjects, exam date, learning style, username, avatar).
• Study content: flashcards, quiz answers, study progress, streaks/XP, and any PDFs or documents you upload to generate study material.
• Tutor messages: the questions you send to the AI tutor and its replies, stored so you can revisit conversations.
• Usage data: in-app study activity (reviews, quiz attempts, battles) used for your progress, streaks, and leaderboards.
• Purchases: subscription status is processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see or store your payment details.

How AI processing works

When you generate study content or chat with the tutor, the relevant text (e.g. a topic name, your question, or an uploaded PDF) is processed server-side by Google's Gemini API to produce the result. We do not sell this data, and it is not used to show you ads.

What others can see

Only your public profile — username, avatar emoji/colour, grade and board — is visible to other users (on leaderboards, friend lists, and battles), and league ranking is opt-in. Your email, exam date, study content, and tutor conversations are never visible to other users.

Storage & security

Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, EU/US data centres) protected by row-level security so each account can only access its own data. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

Your choices

• You can edit your profile and opt out of leagues at any time in the app.
• You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time inside the app (Profile → Delete Account); this takes effect immediately. You can also email yousafzubair36@gmail.com and we will complete deletion within 30 days.

Reporting & moderation

You can report or block another user from the leaderboard or your friends list. Reports are reviewed and acted on, and blocking hides you and that user from each other. Objectionable usernames are not permitted.

Children

SuperQuiz is a study tool intended for students. We collect only the data described above, do not serve ads, and do not knowingly collect more data from children than needed to provide the service. Parents or guardians may contact us to review or delete a child's data.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change; material changes will be noted in the app.
